It's the Hale Carnival on Saturday 1st July and we're having a Disco that evening. Once you've finished
at the Carnival on the Rec, pop down for a drink and boogie the evening away.
There has been a public house called the Alma (or Alma Inn) on this site since the 1860s, named after the Battle of the Alma which took place during the Crimean war.
Obviously the pub has changed a lot since then but it has always been the centre of the local community and we hope to keep that tradition going.
